Ramsey Refurbishments

Some of you visiting our Ramsey store may have noticed some small changes happening. We’re gradually refurbishing and evolving the OG shop which is nearly 8 years old. We’re doing it bit by bit as it’s a struggle to get motivated in the Winter and we only finalised our plan in the Spring.

Today though we have taken delivery of these stunning tables and also fulfilled an ambition I had from when we designed the original shop but opted not to go with of having a bench for people to sit at and watch the world go by whilst enjoying their Gelato.

As somebody that regularly dines or goes out solo, I like the idea of just being able face outward and be in my own world rather than feeling I’m taking up two covers in a place, Plus it’s just very nice to people watch!

These tables have been made for us featuring our on-brand Orange with a worktop material that’s made from recycled yoghurt pots and toys. We’re big on recycling and it’s great to have that represented in the surfaces that people can sit at in our Ramsey shop!

We’ve still got more things to change and update which will happen gradually throughout the rest of the year and finish with replacing the floor (which I now really hate) throughout next Winter when we’re closed.
