Gelatory

North, East, West & South

North, East, West & South

This Afternoon I was working on some of the final touches for our Port Erin site and whilst designing this graphic it kinda stopped me in my tracks to pause and actually feel quite proud of what we’ve achieved with Gelatory.

I’m my own fiercest critic, nothing will ever be good enough and we can always do better but I feel that having our business in the North, East, West & South on the Island I’ve grown up on is something I have real pride in.

If somebody had told me a couple of years ago off the back of finishing our Douglas store’s construction project and first 6 Winter Months of trading (was pretty brutal) that we’d be here today about to open our fourth site and have a team of over 40 people I’d have checked to see if they had any head injuries, but here we are!

Port Erin will open very soon (official date to be announced 👀) and it has been the construction project I’ve enjoyed the most. I’m very proud of the little hut we’ve created on the Promenade that captures all of Gelatory’s Character in such a small space.

We’ll always continue to challenge ourselves, improve things, tweak things and evolve whilst staying consistent and keeping to our core of really tasty Gelato. There’s so many things we still have planned and as we grow I am hoping it actually gives me some more time to bring them to fruition.

It goes without saying that I’m incredibly grateful to every one of our Customers who’ve supported our business, whether you’ve visited once or one hundred times - Thank You!

Of course none of this is achievable without having great people and I would like to think my current team know how much they are appreciated for all of their effort but also am very grateful to anyone who’s worked for Gelatory over the nearly 8 years we’ve been doing this!

As we go into the next week from Tomorrow until the end of the TT Period, we will be open Every Day until 2100 in Ramsey, Peel & Douglas and as soon as Port Erin opens it will follow the same opening times as the other three shops.

Blog post over, thanks for reading and wishing everyone a safe (and hopefully Sunny) TT period.
